Hi everyone.

I wonder if you can help me please. My parents have bought a 2001 Elddis Avante 362 and they are struggling to decipher the handbook with regards the zig and car/van switch.
The handbook shows a rocker switch on a panel with either car or caravan option. Ive been all over the caravan and cant find anything that resembles it. The only control panels i can find are pictured below.

Any ideas please ?

that is basically the same thing, on the newer vans it is in brown switches and is on the side of the wardrobe facing the seating, should be the same on yours, that top pic just has it set out a bit differently that's all, top left is for the hot water, bottom left is for the heating, then top right for the water pump and battery and 12v supply plug and tv arieal, bottom right 240v normal socket

Can anyone enlighten us as to what the 12v switch (bottom photo) is for?? .... Im assuming it allows 12v useage but does it need to be switched to on to allow charging of the battery (ie what i traditionally recognise as "car" setting).

Lastly does anyone recognise this set-up ... I dont think its "Zig"

yes I think its just so that the battery and 12volt system is working or not
