I am going to buy an awning skirt to go with my porch awning. This is probably a daft question but do I buy one long one and just sort of come out of the rail where the wheel is, or do I buy two separate lengths and a wheel cover. I am really confused! ------------- It's summer again, caravan time! Hurrah!

One length will go along the van, a small piece normally goes over the wheel arch, held by press studs, or elcro dots if you don't want to drill holes. ------------- DS-There's more to life than football!!!

Yes you buy one length but when you insert the awning skirt cord you have to feed it from one end as shown in the video link.
You then fit a separate piece to cover the top of the wheel arch to meet the bottom skirt usually with a figure of 8 plastic channel as shown in the link below.

Or use Self Adhesive Magnetic Tape, stick the sticky side to the awning skirt and the Magnet side to the van side wall.------------- Regards

Blue tac ! Rather than having velco or studs on the van we use 3 blobs of blue tac to hold the piece up from the joining bar.

No it won't because I bought 2 x magnetic hooks by mistake to hang the top awning skirt wheel cover on and they didn't work. Magnets won't attract to non ferrous materials such as aluminium or other metals that contain no iron.
