Can anyone advise on an alternative to the Elddis Xplore 302 caravan please? Most important feature is the shower room and lightweight.

Thanks Neil and Lena, have found the 400/2 version but no 300/2. The 400 is too long for our parking spot but what a pleasant caravan!

302 small but brilliant little caravan. We too are restricted for space couldn't fit anything bigger around the side of the house and that means no storage fees

Have you looked at the Xplore 304? I know its not quite the same (may be slightly longer) but the front layout is identical, and with the addition of the side dinnete it just makes it a little more practical

If it doesn't have to be new, how about a venus 380/2 or 320/2

Thanks everyone. Looked at a damaged Xplore 302 this morning to get a feel for it. Really taken with it but it would be a tight squeeze to park in place of our Freedom Microlite. Going to carry out some more accurate checks later. The 302 is a super design! With caravan mover it may be possible.

We have got a mover on ours but I am not allowed to use it it is in the capable hands of the boss ( wife ) but it really does the trick we need to get it round a very tight corner between the house wall and the neighbours fence. Its quite surprising how comfortable the van is given its size

We would need a mover to tuck the caravan into a tight corner. Have looked at the Lunar Venus but wife prefers the layout in the Elddis. Awaiting a call back from a dealer who is searching for us too, Quite exciting !

Ah, didn't realise the reasons for the 302 were space, in that case the 304 will be no good as I believe its a little bit longer.

The newer Freedom Jetstream Twin Sport and Jetstream 1st Class both have showers and are about 10foot long and only weigh 750kg MTPLM. Made of fibreglass they last for donkeys years without leaking. Not too much money either.

Sorry for delay, we have been in Cornwall for a week with no Wi-Fi. If we change from our Freedom microlite we would want to go newer Ours is 1996 model but in good nick.(It has a custom shower in the washroom.)
Also would probably want a change in looks. The Elddis Xplore 302 does look very modern in our eyes and the layout gives a "Tardis" atmosphere to the interior. Still considering options. Thanks again to all!
