I wasn't comparing car and caravan industries, they are not in the same league, as you rightly say.

There is something very rotten (pun intended) in it though and it will only survive as long as its customers continue to support it.

Why anyone would spend that much money on a product that is so clearly built by a bunch of workers who clearly can't be bothered to do a good job, is beyond me.

Warranties are all very well but spending little bit on quality control might not go amiss.
