Hi have paid deposit on lunar delta 600 (2005) model. Now waiting over 4 weeks for parts....axel I have been told.. bought from a main dealer.
this seams a long time in this day and age?
Any advice.
Presumably axle is from Al-ko, they are pretty standard & may be available off shelf, ie here although caravan axle may require a specific fitting as indicated on Western Towing website, a phone call to them regarding availability of axle for your caravan should tell you if your dealer is telling porkies or not as Western Towing supply much of the trade. I would speak to dealer & if he cannot promise a delivery date he should return your deposit.
Caravan parts are not obtained overnight as car spares are.Some parts take as long as 3 months depending what they are.I would give the dealer a deadline or return your deposit.
Hi many thanks for response...think dealer thought I might just give up on this but today assured me parts in by next monday..ready by the Friday. So fingers crossed we will be up and running.
Been used to tents and trailer tents before so this is a whole new experience.
