I have a swift conqueror 570 (2011) can anyone tell me if the awning light can be switched on via the alarm key fob as standard? My dealer tells me it is an extra.....

Your dealer is right. It is an extra available from Sargent. A bit of a fiddle to fit as you require a new wiring loom.
