Hello everyone with a Conway trailer,, I've recently bought a Conway Cardinal clubman and I'm renovating it, does anyone know how to get the stickers off the body of the trailer so I can clean the whole thing to put the new stickers on it??

Heating them up with a hairdryer to soften the glue usually works, or use white spirit to dissolve the glue. If you use white spirit make sure you clean off with me the afterwards, to remove all residue. Good luck, a tedious job to undertake, I know as I've done it.

Hairdryer usually works well on the times I have had to remove stickers from various surfaces.

the secret is in not tearing them.. heat up and carefully start peeling one edge and try and get the lot of all in one piece.. if it tears start again at another corner..

use white spirits or meths to get rid of any residue sticky stuff.. done right they come off easy..

if white spirit dosnt work then use unleaded petrol.
This is what vehicle sign writers use to remove polish, wax etc before applying new graphics.

I have not purchased Conway "stickers" but have for a car. They were quite unbelievably expensive, so are you really sure you want to remove them, if replacing them is on the cards?

depending on type of sticker.If its a sticky lable then scrape off and remove old residue with wd40.This will not affect paint or anything else.if its a metal or proper type like ford badges then use a chesse wire behind it.

you should never use nail varnish remover.It melts and damages plastic surfaces.and removes and dis colours paint.Like i said,wd-40 does not damage anything.but it does melt the crap from stickers.

I used boiling water and then celulose thinners for the glue. WD40 is useless. Petrol is better than nothing if you haven't got thinners.

you cant pour boiling water on windows or most plastics.again,thinners will damage surfaces.
