I just had a look at the NR Awnings webpage as I am considering options for a new awning for our van. However, I can't see any awnings for sale on the site any more - only sun canopies, annexes, spares etc. Have they stopped producing them? Or have they just removed them from sale in advance of the factory summer holiday?

I think they are renovating. I called them as we had an NR awning before and was told they're not making them at the moment

I Called them at the beginning of March wanting an awning, I had a Pullman for 9 years and was well pleased with it. The lady on the phone was a bit vague when inquiring about models available then eventually said they were going through some changes.

I said I was not in a hurry and was willing to wait until June. I was then advised that this could not be guaranteed. I ended up buying a Dorema.

Thia is the reply i had from Paul at Nr Awnings sounds like folks dont want to pay for premuim products in enough numbers Shame really as really good Quality British Awnings.

Hi, yes we have stopped for the time being-----we are busy on other products
at the moment.
everybody seems to want to pay me the "Chinese" prices for awnings and i
just cant do it !!!

I noticed the price of NR awnings went up significantly not long after I bought my last full awning from them back in 2012. To be honest I found the quality of the awning to be mediocre (with wobbly stitching and a very basic pole set without connecting springs or other conveniences), so I will be quite comfortable to look elsewhere from now on (e.g. Dorema).

My Pullman is 15 years old now and has been used extensively ,
Cani knock the quality at all. It's a shame really.....
