Any tips on what to use to convert a small caravan bathroom into a wardrobe area? I'm looking for some sort of telescopic/sprung wardrobe pole but can't seem to find anything suitable..

Use 2 copper pipes so one slides into the other and, lock the inside one by fitting a jubilee clip round it.

Just my opinion but If it were me I would go with the suggestion for mounting it with brackets as opposed to spring tension. The tension you would need to hold the rail up with clothes on it is likely to be too much for the wall board to take.
