stop there about 4 years ago and said never again. the noise was terrible coming and going all night you are never at ease people walking by or are the casing your van. since then we have stayed at site judt oy the m/way. malc
Michael Wood services are very noisey, not just from people shouting and slamming car doors ect but also the road noise from the motorway itself, and the sirens of tge emergency services that use it.
We opted for the meal voucher deal, but tbh, the food prices were so expensive that we ended just buying a few snacks as we would have needed to add more cash to the voucher price just to get a basic breakfast.
You would be far better off finding a local Campsite for the night, and getting a decent nights sleep in relative safety.

Stopped Friday daytime going north it is a long walk form the caravan park up to the services.Never leave your caravan as it could be gone when you get back
Don't know if it's still there but if you leave the M5 at junc'13 northbound,and use the A38 going towards Bristol,there was a small truckstop on the right hand side of the road,safe overnight parking and not too busy,(used to stay there when a trucker,you can then carry on to Bristol on the A38 through Thornbury,and pick the motorways up at the end,don't know if that info helps but I never stopped overnight at Michaelwood,after I woke one morning and found the truck curtains slashed,(empty truck)that's why you can see trucks parked up with the back doors tied open,costs a fortune to repair
