Hi, has anyone used or got this awning?
we are looking for a large easy to put up awning for our two week hols in 4 weeks. It realistically needs to be easy to put up as it will only be my husband doing it, possiably teenage son to help, ive put my back out so cant help. We have a trio sport porch awning at mo but we fill that it will be too small and too hard for hubby to do on his own.
If anyone can help that would be great or give suggestions for any other easy ones, would like to put bedroom annexe on side too
thanks in advance
Try a Kampa Rally, we have both the 390 and 260 versions, both are excellent quality awnings, and the 260, which we bought first, has given us many seasons of dry shelter, and stood upto some fairly strong winds.
Its worth buying the rear upright ploes and the storm straps for it, and erecting it is a simple 15min job, if my 75yr old husband can do it alone, then most people can! As soon as the first corner pole is in its sleeve, and held in position by the guy rope on the leg, the rest is quick and easy.
Im disabled myself, and theres just the two of us who caravan unless the grandkids come along and sleep in the awning, or tent camp with their Mum and Dad, in which case we use the larger 390 size.
Kampa also make the 'Pro' Rally version, but the heavier grade fabric makes them heavier to pull through the awning channel, so we much prefare our lighter standard versions to these. They also make a couple of longer versions, and one shorter one, the 200cm size.
