After years of camping we bought our 1st van last year but we are about to use it. The gas hob works but not the water heater. At first I had a green and yellow light, indicating that the burner had failed but discovered that the van had been drained by the previous owner for winter and had lost the drain plug. This has now been replaced but I have no lights now and whatever fuses I have found are ok, including the 2 small ones in the indicator panel on the floor. I have water to all the taps. I first found that the cold feed to the boiler was disconnected at the tee, indicating that there was a problem for the previous owner and they had decided to manage without it, so I have rejoined it. Its a 1987 ABI Jubilee Globetrotter by the way.
Have you got a fully charged leisure battery connected as you need one to supply the power to the igniter?
If you haven't then this is likely to be why no green light is illuminating.
If the 240 volt mains is connected to the house then double check that the charger's isolation 12 volt 'ON/OFF' rocker switch is on as well otherwise there will be no current from the charger to the battery.
On my caravan the isolation rocker switch is orange that illuminates when flicked to the 'ON' position.
Sure its on but will check. just got lappy repaired and can`t open the carver download yet as we haven't put any programmes on yet and its too big to open on my phone
