We have had ours for six months, No problems as yet as I have already mentioned but.........damp can't be seen in its early stages. Keeping fingers crossed that it doesn't show up at first service.

I have owned foreign vans for the last ten years and never had any trouble with spares when very rarely needed. tap bought Uk caravan shop Thetford fridge freezer door springs uk caravan shop. spare bulb Halfords. new brake cable BPW chassis Exeter trailers/Western trailers. new tyres when 5year old
E tyres never had a leaker or a damp van.        british vans 1971 to 2005
Bailey leaker.ABI damp delaminated floor, Elddis leaker, Swift leaker after storm damage botched by cowboys, main agents, lunar nothing but electric problems. Two Swifts one hot water problems second window seals.
Before 1971 no leakers but gas only vans pain in the backside gas mantels had elesan or very first porta potty under fold up sink very heavy with glass windows
I AM ON MY THIRD FOREIGN VAN AND EVERYTHING IN THEM IS COMMON TO ALL THE UK vans I have owned since 1971. I have a Adria Adora Danube at the moment which has the same Thetford loo as the last 5 vans Thetford Fridge/ Freezer N3000 model gas/elec/batt, Spinoflo gas cooker,
Heki 2 roof light Halogen light bulbs same gas/electric fire, only difference is I have black outer skin double glazed plastic windows, I can see out but you cant see in unless a light is on, and all is mounted on a Alko chassis with 340 tow hitch and No 19 wheel lock insert and two ready made up single beds that can be pulled together to make a double,Whale water pump, The windows are same size as Uk vans same make but may be have trouble getting black outer ?????

A number of years ago caravan makers decided it would be a good idea to use GRP mouldings for the front and back.
This puts a horizontal seam above the front window which can trap water and cause damp. Even worse is the seam across the roof at the back, water tends to pool against this seam and penetrates into the van.

Think this is the crux of it ! finding a good dealer with good after sales, in the event something going wrong. Perhaps there could be a Forum list of dealers, with a point system.
