If you tell us what they are we can probably help. I had a 1994 Award for many years and the Awards of that era ( all had names ending in Star ) had many similarities.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013

my van is a 2000 model, as you enter the van there is 2 switchs on the side of the fridge cupboard, i know 1 is for the awning light but dont know what the other is.
