Hi am new to this site and i have just bought a second hand caravan it looked fine when i viewed it but when i got it home and had a good look and a poke at the walls I found some bad damp.
So have started to strip it back and repair it myself but got a problem now not sure how to remove the wood lats from the outer skins cos they are glued on.
The front of the van is fibre glass the sides are ally.

Fishing line or cheesewire or welding wire etc.

Anything strong enough to use like a sawing action to slice through the bond.

If the wood it damp it usually comes away quite easily. Although it does tend to leave patches still stuck.

Sharp scraper or sand them away, just dont rush, the last thing you want it to gauge the outer material.
