I need to remove one of the wheels from my Crusader twin axle to take to my local tyre dealer for re-balancing as the balance weight has fallen off.
The caravan is fitted with an AWD Powertouch movers so the jacking plates were removed . I do have a trolley jack to use , but where is the best place to position it ?

Position trolley jack on bottom of chassis as near as axles as poss. Does yours have a thicker section around chassis where axles are? jack on that. If there is no rubber pad on your jack then use a small piece of wood.
it is preferable to jack from under the axles or from under the main plate directly behind the wheel where the axle comes through. do not jack from under the chassis rail

Great thanks, this is my third Crusader Super Sirocco in succession and without doubt the best. Since they re designed the inside it feels even more spacious.
Also since Elddis added the Alde heating through to the bathroom rather than just relying on the heated towel rail has made a massive difference to the warmth in the washroom.
I very nearly changed to a Coachman when buying the van at the NEC in February, but changed my mind as I wanted to have a Teleco Sat dish fitted to the roof. The people on the Coachman stand told me this would invalidate the water ingress warranty so changed my mind back to the Elddis who offered this as an option.
Glad I did as really pleased with it.

No, we were in Bella Italia, Lake Garda with the van this year and didn't use the television when in Italy.
We did use it on the way down in France though and worked great. If you are thinking of having one fitted can highly recommend the Teleco.
We had a freestanding Maxview for 3 years prior to the Teleco and ended up not using it after a few months because of the messing about putting it together and taking it apart, then trying to tune it in. On top of that there was the concern of rising one morning to find it had gone for a walk.
The Teleco gives you s choice of satellites with a push of the button finds it immediately, worth every penny in my opinion.
Would suggest you speak with the dish supplier you use and they will advise what size dish you would need for Austria / Switzerland.
