Hi All.
I have a problem with my whale water pump, before we came away I had a new battery fitted to my Bailey Senator Oklahoma, when we arrived on site I set everything up and it was all working great and has done all week, now on the last day, my external pump started running without any taps turned on, I had only filled the water butt up the same morning. I removed the pump from the housing to stop the impeller running and filled the butt up again, I pushed the pump into the housing and without any taps running it started pumping, BUT although there is no water in the caravan system at all, its still pumping but not going into the system, its running all down the side caravan, so emptying the butt. its as though there is a blockage in the system, has anybody had the same experience and can help please

I think it is much more likely to be a leak in or around the filter housing, particularly as you report all was well earlier in the week.

Hi Adrian.

Thanks for your reply, Its not a leak, the pump is pumping the water at a good rate as its a new impeller, but its not being pumped into the system its pouring out of the connection at such a rate that it is as though the pipe is blocked, but it was running fine yasterday
