Hi, just moved my caravan to another (easier access) storage spot. On checking inside of van prior to leaving found the toilet door open. This happened with our previous tow, when we went from picking up the van to storage. Does anyone else have this happening? with a 2015 challenger sport 514. Is it a warranty job? or can I just pack the striker plate out a bit. Not sure if there is any adjustment on the door hinges. It seems that the latch is not going into the striker plate far enough.

If it is still under warranty - report it. If you try to fix it yourself and it breaks again - your warranty will be void.
probably right, only had it 2 weeks. Just a pain to tow it back.

I have 2013 Challenger sport 514 and found the door was tight on shutting from new, it did get a little easier. When I took it in for first service I pointed it out to them on picking it back up they said there was nothing they could do. To me it seems as if the door is not quite wide enough and hinge bound. It did get pushed to the back of my mind as there were other things that needed sorting and now you have reminded me again, it can be a pain as the door would come open travelling and keep banging on sink. I now put water butt in front of it, but yes there is obviously a problem with this model now you have mentioned it.
We bought a 2013 sport new and found door tight. I did what the dealer said they would do. Took the hinges off and bent them slightly in the vice and the door has opened fine ever since.Ours is a 524 and the door opens right back does not foul.
When we first got our Challenger 586 the toilet door opened when we brought it from the dealers, as we travel with the awning bag on the floor in that area, I've forgotten all about it. We've just had the van serviced so won't be in a rush to travel back to the dealer to get it checked out.
Does you toilet door just have a central handle or a top and bottom hook arm as well,
Our door had warped slightly so top and bottom hooks did not locate unless you pushed door shut using hand on top and foot on bottom,
I overcame this by fitting a lenght of 8x8x2 mm alumium angle on back of door which took out warp.
hence no opening door during travel
no top and bottom hook, it's like a door in the house. Turn handle and it retracts the latch. Push door closed and latch should be pushed into striker plate under spring pressure. Just seems not to be entering far enough to keep door closed. Will see what the dealer comes up with in 2 weeks.

The door in our van was opening in transit, happened a couple of times so now we make sure we tie it closed before towing.
It's ok on site but looks like a bit of flex is enough to allow it to swing open.
