Hi everbody
Going to haven greenancres in 2 weeks time looking at the route, is it best to go round the coast road a55 then onto caerrtarfon a487? the other routes are taking me through where snowdonia is a487 the roads don't look as good thanks for you help------------- beer,beer and more beer!

Yes, I would stick to the coast road A55 and then through Carnarfon and onto the A487. I have been along this way to Aberdaron (which is on the way to Porthmadog) and found it an easy route. The other route has some good twisty corners and high passes, if I remember correctly.-------------

Hi Scott
Stick to the coast road, mostly motoway and dual carriage way from Ripley to Carnafon, the its single a roads down to porthmadog. And you can drive on the beach there
