Nice one.Used to read alot of your posts on the Folding camper site as we too had one. This is our first year with a caravan and me and the missus just wonder why we didn't do it years ago.Enjoy yours.
Buying a caravan and moving away from tents was the best thing we did, unfortunately should have done it a lot earlier. We now enjoy long weekend breaks and longer stays all year round without having to worry about drying out a tent when we get home. Enjoy your new caravan and all the time away you'll spend in it.
Hi all, I actually own both now lol. I'm looking towards the summer to sell the FC, as I've had a few stupid people, 1 of which actually told me my camper was too clean to buy......... If anyone understands that let me know? I must admit I do look after my stuff and the FC is polished and well looked after.
But anyway I'm the proud owner of a swift fairway, it's hard every been used. It's a 2012 and I reckon it's been used maximum 5 times.
All that needs to be done like I did with my camper is give it my deep clean, though there's nothing too clean, but I don't think it's hardly if ever been polished ( bit like the FC) So I'm looking forward to giving it a showroom shine!

Enjoy Mr T. Our first year in the 'van has been great. I will admit to it taking a while to get used to towing the bigger unit, especially the feel of the pressure when a lorry passes.

Yes we also moved to a caravan this year. We loved our tents but the thought of having to dry them out always spoilt the final days of the holiday and we rarely packed the tent away dry. Now we are able to set off for a weekend break virtually any time we choose without any worry of rain or damp, we have an awning but use it only on week long breaks so again no worries about packing away damp. Enjoy your new caravan.

I'm going Friday I hope. After the the worries towing weights etc etc it pulled like a dream. Only problem I'm having which is a massive headache is storage. One near us is being marked for housing so it's shut down and now 100 caravans are having to find storage, and I can't get a place anywhere. I've phoned up pretty much everyone and been stuck on a long list with others :(.

That's why we have just bought a FC due to lack of storage around where we live in Bucks. Shame as I would have preferred a caravan but I'm sure the FC will be just fine.
Tried everywhere, space is at a premium around near me as 30 mins from London.
Plus the caravan being big for a start don't help lol.
The Audi pulled like a dream as well.

Mr T- someone on the FC site said you were selling your folding camper? We are looking for a Conway Crusader or Pennine Pathfinder (approx 10 years old or so). We would like an oven! Don't know if yours is still available or where you live? (We are in Cornwall). We just missed out on a Crusader at the weekend-soooo disappointed!!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
