Mushroom vent over bathroom needs replacing, roof seal is ok but the plastic dome has become brittle and a small section broke off. No idea how these are fitted, looking from the inside there seem to be three screw points covered by plastic protectors, presumably the roof seal is sealed by silkaflex or similar which will need completely removing before replacing. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
Remove the three screws and pull off the plate from inside, from the roof ease up the old vent and remove . Clean off all old mastic and reseal new vent . Go back inside and refit plate and screws. Available from most caravan accessory shops or on eBay. Mine was about 94mm diameter
Thanks it sounds pretty much as I expected. Probably not a job to do when it rains might take the vent off get the right size for replacement and as a temporary measure cover the hole with DPM and seal with duck tape before cleaning and installing.

do just as tedthebear said but don't use Sikaflex as it's a pain to remove if the mushroom breaks in the future.
Use mastic either in a tube or the tape stuff and seal around the edge with Soudal RV61.
