First thing to look for is any leaks, make sure the drain off valve isn't stuck open although it looks closed. Those would be my first guesses. Is it a submerable pump or an onboard pump?
Hi Thanks for your replies, it has given me a few things to check. At the moment I can't see any leaks, we have a Daughter just using the van over the weekend, so will check tomorrow. It's a submersable pump. Thanks.
I had a go at trying to find the water pump problem. First by disconnecting each tap that I could get too. The first was the toilet basin, got some pliers and gave the connectors a pull, couldn't move the first cold tap, and just frightened something would snap, tried the hot side and found they just pulled off, tried the pump, and still on, took the courage to pull a little harder on the cold side, and off they came, tried the pump, and switched off.I noticed that there was some green corrosion on the connectors, so sprayed with WD40, did some scraping and leaving till tomorrow before reconnecting. Thanks. Pete.
I think your problem is in the pressure switch unscrew it until the pump stops then screw it down slowly until it runs turn on one cold tap to flow at approx one pint per minute when you get this right (it may take a few attempts)turn back the switch half a turn and all should be ok
Suppose that depends on make of tap, found this on a search
The comet roma mixer tap in the kitchen area is faulty
The silver disc on the top of the lever comes out to reveal a screw head. Remove the screw and gently lift the lever from the tap. You will find the micro switches lying in recesses. Under the sink disconnect the wires coming from the switch to the harness and lift the switches from the top drawing the wires through the tap. Re-fit with new switch(es).

Fixed the Water pump not switching off. It was a micro switch on the bathroom basin. I first isolated each tap by removing the wires from the switches that are located on the taps, until the pump switched off. removing the bowl to make it easier to removed the switch, and replaced with a new one.
Thanks to all that took the trouble to reply. Thanks Pete.NZ.
