Why not, ive read up loads. Even one bloke said hes caravaned for 25 years and even gave it a go and it did make a difference.

I am sure freeatlast will put me right but just passing on what I was told from a caravan service engineer !
I brought some crystals ( cat litter in a box for condensations :-). ) BUT was told as our van is new and hopefully is damp free do not used these as they will actually attract moisture ?....
If you have a damp van then yes used a dehumidifier if not then ventilate normally ( all cushions up doors open etc) no need for condensation pots as this normally applies to hot and cold instances during use and not if van is winterised with no Sharp change in internal and external heat ( ie you having the heating on).
Ps don't shoot the messenger and I am sure a smelly sock test won't hurt :-) ........ Happy camping is coming soon all it will be spring before we know it ! 😎😜😝
I only have the condensation, when were in then with the heating on.
Obviously due to the amount yiu loose from your body etc plus warm air carries moisture, then when hits the cold window it drops passed its dew drop point and creates the droplets.
Its not for when your not in the caravan, its when your in.
Thought i would try it as i suffer from it at home.
I know auite a few people who try them at home and reckon theyre brilliant, so trying them of a night time in a caravan may help a bit.
Not sure yet as not tried it.

If the caravan is the same temperature inside as out, then you will not get condensation.

If car is otherwise in good mechanical nick, usual reason for interior to be fogged up in the morning is due to rain previous day & driver/passengers wet shoes leaving water in the rubber mats.
So leave a sock full of cat litter in the car to absorb the moisture.
What this has got to do with caravans, I have no idea.
I never said when I put the heater on I said when I go out to the car on a cold morning there is moisture on the window inside until I put the blower on to clear it, so you are saying that every car that you see in the mornings with condensation on the inside of the Windows have either got a leak or wet mats etc, what a load of tosh it is to do with inner temperature being different to outer as most of you would know.
If there is no wetness inside the car when it is parked at night there will be no condensation on the inside of the glass in the morning, how can there be? It is damp air hitting the inside of the cold glass overnight that causes the condensation, if the air inside the car is dry then it will not cause condensation.
