Actually cars inside do get condensation due to the vents being open.
After the engine is turned off warm air carries moisture, hits the cold windscreen
Nothing to do with a heater matrix at all.
Why do you think air conditioning is used to clear you windscreens so fast as they work in reverse and draw the moisture out clearing the window fast.
As i also stated this is only for at night when the were all asleep and the temperature drops leaving the inside warm the outside cold forming condensation.
This is also not down to any leaks damp etc etc as last weekend all the caravans all where exactly the same where the haeating had been on.
Next time i go away i will give it ago if it draws moisture out and not on the windows then all good.
This is where kpnuts is right im also in the trade and deal with damp a lot where warm air hits cold air you get damp.
The trouble is people comment on things that they dont actually understand why and how it happens in the first place.

The inside of our van is not warm enough at night for condensation to form the missus has all the windows open including the roof.
This idea is the same as the yellow bags which need to be removed and dried out regularly otherwise the bag gets soggy. These are only for an enclose space and no good for leaving in a caravan which has good ventilation.

Thats right taylor if its cold inside then it will not happen, but when your camping in below minus 2 i think it was aound 6 then its hard to leave them open when you have small children.
Or have a air con unit fitted, which wont be happening.
