I know, ANOTHER insurance question.....

But this time, I'd like to know just how to value your contents of the caravan??

Your personal belongings, mini ovens, awning etc??

I just don't want to sell myself short when looking for quotes.....

All you need to do is write down the cost of everything in the van that is not fixed or in the van when bought. Just guess most of it then you will have a contents price.

ie. Pots and pans knives forks etc - about £50.00
     Awning and carpet (You will know the price of this)
     Water carrier and waste - £100
     Electric cables - BBQ cookers TV etc Say £400
     Tools - Hair dryers - shavers - bathroom items -
     add another £200.
     Tables, chairs, lights, (Things you put in
     The awning. Add another £200 ish.
You should be getting near the contents estimate.

Clothes will be covered on you home insurance. Bedding may be also but this is a separate claim - where you may have an excess.

TV, garden chairs, hair drier etc should be covered on your home contents or can be on some policies so check that first

All you can do is value contents at new prices, thats the only accurate value & not difficult to ascertain.
