Help please. The plastic threaded collar is broken on my shower. The shower head itself is fine. I have tried the superglue route and if that doesn't work, how do I replace the the complete hose? Alternatively, can I buy the plastic collar assembly?

You will have to replace the complete hose which you can get for under a tenner if you enter a search for 'flexible caravan shower hose'. You can choose your price you want to pay but I have provided a link below that you may find useful.

Methinks you need the complete shower hose! You could get one at a dealer's accessory shop or as i did some years ago - found one in a pound shop!

If you want a chrome coiled job B&M Home bargains etc as they are usually standard thread size as in van

If you want just rubber hose type you might have to shop around or pay a fortune at caravan dealers.

As those above usually cater for home use you can get a clear plastic hose with the coil inside, this will stop any scratches on abs or plastic part of shower.

Thanks for the replies. The problem being that if the shower leaks after the super glue route, how do I change the complete hose. The hose its self fits to the mixer tap through a plastic screwed to the main unit, not just a case of unscrew both ends and fit a new one. Any ideas?
