Hi

Have a Dorema Mistral All seasons awning, holds up fantastically to high winds, winters etc. However the one thing that drives me insane is that I can never get it tight an taught, aM the type that likes it so taught you can play a tune on the fabric. Anybody else have this awning and have any tips on getting it right and no sag in side panels etc, please do let me know.

When we had one we bought the back poles which were extra, and i put some pole clamps each side on the goal post with some heavy duty straps, with springs at the lower end when pegging. Similar to the awning tie down straps. Found this was fine if pitch was level but if not impossible to get tight. We now have another make which has adjustable legs to compensate on uneven pitch.

Yea I don't think the pitch is 100% level all round, and suspected that could be part of the issue. I had seen them put together in the past and seemed square, yet they are not, at the front corners it comes out more in a round curved style when up not the nice square corners too.
