OK, so I replaced the 110 Amp battery with a 100amp that I had in my Garage, and it has been reading 12.8 volts almost every day with no great loss, problem solved, but could my original battery have been knackered by the Service Centre failing to keep it fully charged, they had it for 2 months ??
I am in no position to accredit blame only say if it had been left at low state of charge for a month or two then it almost certainly would have knackered it. Some "better" batteries can cope better than others, but all are damaged to varying degrees by not being fully charged and time spent at increasing levels of discharged.
The message is simple, keep any lead acid battery fully charged and after use recharged as promply as possible if wanting a decent life from it. Plus never drain the batteries we can afford below 50 % of full charge.
When I log on to the tracker website it gives me details of my battery condition, and its showing approx. 12.8 volts, the only load is the Burglar alarm. but the battery is quite new so should hold its charge OK.

Is that late into the evening long after the solar panel has finished any charging and the battery lost it's surface charge? It gets complicated but to make a judgement such things are relevant.
If it is a late evening reading then the battery is at or near enough fully charged; however that still is no guide to how much energy the battery can now hold.
