Just wondering if anyone has thoughts on why the gas cuts out immediately on releasing the knob on both the oven and grill. can't be flame failure if it happens on both oven and grill. I've kept it on for minutes so reaches a good temperature but gas cuts out when knob released. Thanks.

If you have a lid this also has a cut off. Check it's fully open.

problem sorted thanks. It was a broken knob and have temporarily used another knob. The spring on the knob was broken must have been from turning without pressing. Thanks.

How do you find the oven and grill? Our cooker in the new van is a Thetford and has a grill that makes a popping sound and doesn't seem to get very hot and the performance of the oven is disappointing when compared to the Dometic in the last van.

Sorry David but only just got the motorhome in October and not really used the oven. So far only needed the grill for toast and could do with being able to get the toast nearer the heat.   Otherwise appears fine except that a new knob is around £8.50 and could be stronger. Never had any problems with old Dometic in caravan for 7 years which we sold in summer.
