Hi Train52,

I don't know of hire caravans that allow dogs, but if you would consider a modern VW California Campervan then please do check out the link on our homepage on my profile above.

I checked this out some years ago Andy, before we took the plunge and bought our own, and I couldn't find any. Most motorhome companies don't allow dogs either. We ended up buying an elderly Ace Ralleyman caravan for £900. And so it began………….

You will be surprised how may hire companies do. Most will stipulate a minimum of one dog, however and apply a surcharge to have the camper fully valeted afterwards.

This is what we do anyway. We have one camper which is designated as pet friendly, and the rest are allergy friendly.

Mind you, your elderly caravan sounds like a bargain. Although you do have to store it and look after it.
