Hi, My wife and I are new to caravanning and have bought an Avondale Dart 515 which we are very happy with for the moment. We are currently looking at full awnings and have been looking at an ex demo Norcamp Corsican available at what seems to be a very reasonable price. The problem I have is I can only find one review of Norcamp awnings and it wasn't good to say the least. Does anyone have any experience of these awnings or know anyone who has one?
The Corsican model was originally manufactured by a company called 'Pyramid' that also made other caravanning accessories but they ceased trading a few years back. Maybe the business was taken over by Norcamp which I haven't heard of but if their company have poor feedback I would be reluctant to make a purchase. However, you could look into reviews for 'Pyramid' Corsican awnings and you may find out if the company went into liquidation or taken over by Norcamp. Just thought it was worth mentioning.
aren't pyramid awnings now camptech awnings? also I thought norcamp was an awning manufactured for Norwich camping and leisure. but I stand to be corrected on this

It was just a guess on my part and you may well be right but I think it strange that both companies would use the same model name 'Corsican'.
I see where you are coming from, but also you can only get the norcamp brand via Norwich camping, or amazon which is also through them.
I figured norcamp is short for Norwich camping..
either way if the awnings are bab then best to steer clear.
