New to us Avondale Argente is badged Windsor, we really love it.

I assume that it is some sort of dealer special, but can't seem to find out much by googling it.

My advice would be to give Bailey customer services a call on 01179- 665967 as they should be able to offer further information as to which of their dealers sold the Winsdor model.

By doing a Google search it does appear that it was a dealers special.

I have conducted another search for you but all I can find is that the 'Windsor' was a special badge by some Avondale dealer in the UK before Avondale ceased production but can't find out exactly which particular dealer it was as there is very little information on this. However, due to the the fact that no information is available I would suggest you contact the Avondale owners club with a general enquiry because they would be more knowledgable regarding the information you need.

More than likely Glossop Caravans.They did a Dart named Mayfair. Basically the same van just different fittings such as handles.

Yes it's much the same as Coachman as well as Wandahome Caravans did an Amara model named Wanderer.

One of our daughters pointed out today that it says on the side of the caravan "By Raymond James" on a faded sticker under the Windsor badge.

We had the answer under our noses all along lol.

Strangely enough, Raymond James Caravans and accessory shop are now actually sited on the old grounds of Avondale Caravans premises in Atherstone, Warwicksire.
