hijust got a cover for the caravan but i forgot about the solar panel on the van has any one put a clear panel in a caravan cover or cant it be done its just a thought.

I can't see any reason why you couldn't do it though you'd probably have to glue it(and probably hand sew it) as I doubt you could get all that material under a sewing machine "arm", (though it's amazing just what you can get under the arm of a sewing machine with a little creative thinking). You would have to make sure that whatever you used was UV stabilised as otherwise it would deteriorate/go cloudy/brittle, long before the rest of the cover

we used an old window from an awning for a smaller job we wanted to do on a towing cover.
