We bought Little Gertie (a Freedom Sunseeker 4 birth) at the weekend.
She is a little beauty and has been lovingly restored by her previous owner and in fab condition for her age, but her insides are quite a stark dark blue (dark blue curtains/upholstery covers and beige walls. I can easily change the curtains and the covers but I'd like to paint the cupboards and I think they will need more than a spit and a lick of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, as I want a more smooth hard wearing finish.
The cupboard doors are all in a glossy melamine. I've spent a while researching painting melamine, and it seems this product gets great reviews as a primer to then be followed by a water based eggshell. Has anyone used it : Owatrol ESP Easy Surface Preparation?
Thanks,
Lynne
