You have bought a Dorema Sirocco Annexe - also fits some other models. If you are buying second hand, have a look at the side zips on your awning and make sure that they match the annexe you are looking at. The name is on the zip pull. Also, check that you are buying one with zips all round.

Put the one you bought on Preloved and on the free ads on this site or even ebay. They are quite saleable - I sold mine easily when I changed my awning.

Whoever told you that the annexes are universal is incorrect. We have a a Dorema Montana awning which is 3 metres wide which the front and rear doors zip along three sections (two sides and along the top). The annexe you have is to fit the Dorema 2.7 metres wide awning which zips up one side, along the top with the remaining side having an awning cord which slides into the awning rail at the front then attaches to the main awning. It fits this way due to the door being narrower.
The Dorema annexe you need is for a 3 metre awning (with no awning rail cord) which zips as mentioned above.

YKK zips will be found on both the narrow fitting and wider fitting annexe and the 975 refers to the awning rail size (length) but it isn't this that you need to know. It's the DEPTH of the awning that is important because you need an annexe that is compatible with a 3 metre wide awning which is what the Montana model is.
If you look at the link below at the Dorema 'President' 250 model you will see under the features section that the depth is 250 cms which is the Dorema narrow size awning so the annexe for this particular model would be the one with the awning rail cord fitment.
