When we did ours (as we had the awning professionally cleaned so needed reproofing) we used Fenwicks (only one available at he time) it came in a spray bottle that was sprayed directly on to the awning. Can honestly say was easy to do and no leaks or anything since doing it
Thanks all. Years ago i did re seal the awning i had at the time, not sure what the brand was that i used but the instructions told me to brush it on and that is what i did. when it dried it was like touching one of those wax coats and felt as though the material had gone rather thick to the touch, it was water proof but didn't seem right at all.
I did ours with Fabsil...and a 6 inch brush. I dont think sprayers A) get enough on, and B) are accurate enough around the windows. So its the spray lot that are tight arses.
ps...went from a collander to water-tight and remained so.
I use fabsil on my Saab convertible car's roof.Clean itt first then leave to dry.
Brush on fabsil,excellent job.
Recommended on owners forum,they also recomend Johnson baby bath
In blue bottle for cleaning and milton sterilising solution for mould removal prior to applying fabsil.
