Hi all. I have just purchased a Bailey pageant and all I can see is one 12v 2 pin style plug. We do a lot of non hookup breaks so with just the one we may struggle. Is there such a thing as an adapter multiplug adapter so we can plug more than one item in at a time?
Thanks in advance
Hi Matt, I have the same 2 pin socket and loads of thing that utilise the cigar type plug. You can buy a lead from various places with a 2 pin plug on one end and cigar lighter socket at the other, only a few pounds.
I think the OP is referring to one as shown in the link except 12 volts and NOT 240 volt mains.
The OP needs to clarify if this is correct (picture for illustration purposes only).
Hi guys, it was something like tango55 mentions but I've been told now you can't run more than one item at a time on a 12v socket so I'll have to think of something else. We are of for a week with no hookup so need phones charged. I've seen power banks for phones so will have to invest in a couple of those. Thanks
I reckon the Op needs one of these to provide an adapter from the 12v outlet to a cigar type charger socket ..
You could then use a multi-outlet adapter to connect additional chargers, but just be cautious of running too much at once. Example adapter.
You could even get a multi-output adapter and just the 12v caravan plug, then hard-wire the adapter onto a dedicated plug to do away with the adapter in the picture altogether.
You can buy amulti socket to fit in you car 12volt socket, which run of your battery doesn't say car engine must be running, you can even get them with USB port.
I would indeed invest in a power bank as a cheap solution for phones and tablets. Loads on Amazon and for less than £20 you will get a probably 20000mah one which will charge a smartphone multiple times and many have 1A and 2A outputs for phone and tablets
One I got is also solar for a small boost to power aswell
