Another of my daft questions ;
On the Truma Control Panel plus does the display go off when everything is off i.e. when the caravan is in storage. Ours continues to show the time even though it is only connected to a solar panel.I have looked at the instruction booklet and can't find anything about this and assume it must be ok but don't want to run down the leisure battery.Any advice gratefully received.
Thanks.

Thanks for the response but I have been advised not to disable the 12v as the solar panel charges it and additionally would switch off the alarm system.
You need to hold down the main control button on the panel until it goes off. And ensure you have turned off the Master switch on the panel below it if there I one.
To turn it back on press and hold down the main control button again.

I didn't explain it very well I meant leave the 12v on because of the alarm ,not leave the Truma control panel.
Sammymac
thanks
will try that tomorrow.
Problem solved .
You just need to press the central control knob for more than 3 seconds.The word 'OFF' then appear and then the screen goes blank.
Thanks for the help
that's what I meant - not easy to describe stuff without inserting pictures!! I wish I knew how to insert pictures on these posts - it never works for me.
