Our van is 13 years old. We love her and are not expecting to change her. However, we need a new mattress. Any ideas where to get a replacement. It is a fixed bed. Bed is at the back on the left with angled wedge missing on the bottom right with a split/hinged on beading so the bed can be raised (if you were looking at it from above).
Where can I get a new sprung mattress. Don't want memory foam ??

You don't need to buy a specific caravan mattress - We bought an ordinary double mattress and I built a support for the corner. The support - which I made into a couple of shelves doubled as a place to put shoes.
Some mattresses can be heavy so check out the weight of them. We bought a light weight pocket sprung mattress. When we finally swapped the caravan we put the old mattress back (We stored it in the attic) and the good double mattress went in the spare bedroom.

Not sure about a normal mattress as it will stick out and you won't be able to get passed to the toilet/shower

Our bed was across the back of the van - it worked perfectly.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
