Hi has anyone on here had there caravan re carpeted.
I was thinking about having it done but am a little worried how it would be finished off around the furniture.Ive had a look and all the carpet from factory fitted runs underneath.
When we had our tourer I removed the seats it's quiet easy only a few hold them down then you can carpet up to the edge of the van,and it looks more professional

Have you thought about fitting square carpet tiles instead?
Although it may take a little longer to fit, it's a much easier DIY job plus you can replace any worn ones in the future if you purchase a few more than required.
I was going to do mine as I can't find any carpet off-cuts in green but can in tiles.

We did ours with carpet tiles, made a super job of it, and really pleased with result.
Unfortunately, I spilled milk out of the fridge last time out.
At the end of hols sour milk smell beginning to permeate atmosphere, not good, and squaw not at all happy with Big Chief Wazzack !!
Just took up the affected ones, washed, disinfect, re-laid, all back to normal, simples.
Hi,we replaced the two piece carpet in our 10 year old ace 470 as the original was a bit passed its best.We took our originals to a local carpet fitter,he used these as templates and we chose which carpet we wanted.They were ready the following day with edges bound £60 total cost.What a difference it made,looks great.
Had fitted carpet fitted three vans back bought end of roll for £18 in brown/ white/fawn check which matched soft furnishings carpet fitter charged £25 quid. van a lot warmer one join in rear bath room door way fitted wood slat across looked bees knees no more crumbs between carpet and cupboards. He fitted it into slots in furniture about one inch without blocking gas drop out vents in floor used press studs in out of way places no trip up / or carpet movement £8 for press studs/tape etc
£51 20/30 mins work hotel luxury can be lifted to prove no floor delamination. New van carpets over £250 from dealer
