Hi, I have an electric coolbox that I want to run in the awning. Is my only option to get a power socket installed on the outside of the van? There's no adapter I can get to get power off the ehu cable is there?
Sorry - probably a daft question!

You'd need a definitive answer from a dealer, but I queried with ours the cost of an external gas bbq point - cost was £135 (+VAT) - I would imagine there would be a similar amount of work for an electric point.
Without having a external socket fitted you could buy a 3 way splitter for your mains we had ours from towsure then run a tripped camping socket to your awning this is exactly how we run our cool box.
Would you not just need a two way splitter and mains electric cable unit thingy? Or does it have to be 3 way splitter? I am thinking of doing this too.
