Off to Ilfracombe tomorrow towing the caravan, I'm coming off the M5 onto the A361 now is it best to carry on the A361 into Ilfracombe or cut off onto the A399?

It's easier to stay on the 361 the 399 is doable but is a bit of a pain getting through Combe martin, it's very narrow and hilly

Stay on the 361 through Ilfracombe and it's a straight run through the town but a bit tight as you go down the main shopping street but I've done it loads of times with a caravan, have fun
