Hello all. We are going to paignton,devon in a week and a half and we are planning to split the journey up and stop somewhere overnight, only we are not sure where to stop. We will be leaving from ipswich, suffolk and need somewhere to stay thats safe and fairly quiet and not too expensive and what would be an added bonus is having somewhere to hook up electricity. Hi i live in Paignton what i would say is workout how many hours you feel happy with driving before you need a break its not the kindest route then Google stop overs in that area BTW Paignton is lovely

There is Peterborough Lodge near Chippenham, only a couple of miles from J17 of the M4, i am guessing that it would be about half way. It used to be a caravan club CL, but don't think it's affiliated to the club any more.
