We have pre ordered a 2017 Swift caravan. I know this is probably a daft question but anyone any idea when we can expect it to be built/received?
We decided against the show as we got a good deal at a dealers.
I know the new ones go on sale Oct at the Nec but do they start taking orders and building sooner?
Thanks

If you have ordered before the show I would have thought that you would be nearer the front of the queue for getting yours. It depends on so many things like when your dealer placed his order. They tend to build them in model batches but I would have thought they should be able to give you an idea if when they plan to build. After that its just a case of getting it to the dealer and him doing the delivery check.

Have Swift announced any changes - do you know what you are getting? I was looking to see what they have lined up for 2017 but have not seen any announcement yet.

We are buying a Conqueror 645 and been told that they aren't changing them that much for 2017, only changes will be upholstery if any, iv no idea about the other Swift ranges. They only changed them last year so they aren't due for another year or so. Same with Bailey Unicorn ranges they aren't changing either. I know that the Unicorn and Pegasus are on a price freeze for 2017 and its only the Pursuit range that's changing on the Baileys.
We were offered a 2017 model at this years discounted price so we went for it as we were going to buy a discounted 2016 model til we got offered the 2017 for same price. They told us it depends on when they build that batch weve ordered and as yet they don't know anything, other than the 2017 demos will be coming into the forecourts end of August beg of Sept si I presume that's when they start building them?

With Bailey, they send out demos to the dealers in September. I've seen them in past years.

There is always a piece of paper inside stuck to the wall saying what the improvements to the demo version will be. Some of the changes can be quite big and very desirable to have.
