Help!!! In france for a month with missus and our 5 children 1 autistic. We have an issue with our electric and I cannot figure it out we have also had 2 electrical guys from our camp site and they can't figure it out...any ideas?

The main unit is trpiping left mcb only for charger / fridge / lights..

Lights off and fridge was disconnected. We did by a microwave as our internal broke but everything is all unpluged. Hot water heating stereo sockets lights all working.

Since the guys left the fridge is now completely dead all fuses in main unit are fine and it's had a new pcb board and element fitted before we came away. I have checked fuses in pcb board and they are fine aswel but no power because if trips. Initially there was an error code on fridge thetford n175 error code 8.

We can't figure our what's causing it and it means the quad movers might not have enough power to move off our pitch as it's secluded and battery not charging. No fridge help help ;)

Don't know where charger is either...sites electric is fine at 16 amps. Also switched everything off when switching mcb on but nothing just tripping...

Any help guys or girls????

Am I right in thinking you have unplugged the fridge from the mains, switched the mcb on and it still trips back down, if so then it is likely the charger had failed.

If my memory serves me right the charger in your van would be in the consumer unit, can't remember if the top unscrews in yours or the front but the charger will be in there. Open the unit up and unplug the charger, normally they use a kettle plug. With it unplugged try putting the mcb trip back on and see what happens. Remember to disconnect from mains power while working in the unit though just in case you touch any thing that you shouldn't.
