Hello, can anyone advise me what would be the best rooflight to replace the broken one on my Alpine Sprite G8 compact 1983? I cannot get one to fit the original hole as not square and is positioned in the middle of the roof. I now have to buy a 400x400 size and have the hole made bigger in the roof, which is worrying me a bit. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as to0tally new to this, worried she might get water come through as it has been raining recently, tarpaulin has blown off already once !! now very much better secured, rubbish rope that cost a lot from Travis and Perkins, she is all now snug but would like to start doing her up asap...Many Thanks :)

Try a local caravan breaker if you have one, if not you can source an MPK 400x400 or a Fiamma 45 from a dealer or online. The MPK will open in 4 directions or lift straight up, the Fiamma is hinged and opens in one direction depending on which way round it is fitted. Try to make sure you do not cut through any wiring when enlarging hole and fit same size battens around new hole as originals. Use W4 sealing strip under external flange.

XVI yes?

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
