Hi

Something else i could do with help on is: i seem to have lost power to the fire and the water heater. initially the water heater would light up the green light and after a few seconds it would go red, tried this a few times did some research and decided that it was probably lack of gas (not bled through yet) thats why i did the cooker first as easier to tell when gas was through, the gas fire Carver 3600STC used to light the red light in the knob when i turned it to ignite that has now also stopped. Wondering if there is a fuse somewhere or perhaps they dont light if there isnt any gas?? Checked fuses in Zig unit only 4 and they were OK.
Stumped again!!
Thanks
Dave

Both the water heater (on gas) and the gas fire have a source of 12 volt ignition which the source of power comes from the leisure battery. Have you checked that the battery has enough voltage which should be at least 12.7 volts?

My water heater switch (the one with the red & green lights) has a fuse inside it, have you tried that? Mine worked loose once, but hadn't actually blown. It wouldn't affect anything other than the water heater though.

We all had to learn at some point, Dave, and most of us are still learning.

If you are hooked up to the mains, your leisure battery should be on charge, so it should be well topped up. However, it is always possible that the battery charger isn't working. If you have a voltmeter, or know someone who has, turn the mains off, put the voltmeter across the battery terminals then turn the mains back on. The voltage should immediately rise. If it doesn't, then for some reason the battery charger isn't working.

Best Regards,
Colin
