We are on our way home from a lovely week in St Ives and staying overnight on Michael Wood Services - very basic but only £12 for the night as opposed to £23 on the way down at Exeter Services for the same thing.

At 11.30 pm there are almost no food facilities open which i think is very poor - the Burger King we had was rubbish - KFC was shut etc etc.

Just lay in bed listening to the soothing sound of all the traffic thundering past - but we live on a main road so it's just like home to us.

Will be up and away in the morning refreshed after a good rest.

Hi,
£23 is extortionate, for what is after all a car park.
Glad you enjoyed St Ives, spent many happy days fishing off Smeatons Pier.
Safe trip home.
Regards,
Greg
