It seems standard that soft furnishings go back to the manufacturer not caravan manufacturer! It Seems daft to me!

To be honest, it doesn't matter when the soft bits are added, since under the Law it is the retailer who is responsible for rectifying any faults and not the manufacturer.
I suggest contacting Trading Standards.
