Can you use those sticky frostings for windows on a caravan window? My bathroom window is clear and I would like to use some of this if possible. I'm guessing its a no but just wanna check

Hello, the best option would be a self cling film with a pattern that suits. Self cling means it is a film without an adhesive, also known as electrostatic pvc......this stuff 'clings' to a suitable surface. If however you cannot find that, then a self adhesive pvc would be the next choice........but it must be coated with an adhesive that is not degraded by UV light...so a pvc film coated with a long life acrylic adhesive would do the job. Go to your local signmaker/screenprinter, they will know what to get for you, they may even have an offcut in stock.
There is the school of thought that stickers or even cling film can cause very fine crazing to form in the window due to plastic components leaching over time. I have heard of some who have had their toilet window 'sand-blasted' with nut particles to make them opaque. Then again, even Polyplastic attach little clear warning 'stickers' to each window they make,... the jury is out.

There definitely is a "school of thought that stickers or even cling film can cause very fine crazing to form in the window due to plastic components leaching over time"; that is because it can happen. That does not mean all adhesives and all plasticisers can do this, Polyplastics probably know enough about their acrylic to chose one that does not; unfortunately unless you know one is "safe" putting it on is IMO far too risky a task.
The, micro crazing surface fracturing does not happen immediately but occurs months later after the contact with these structural damaging chemicals.
Typically, these windows cost from about £300 a piece retail. Has not the window got some modesty screen/blind that you could use?
don't you have the normal blackout blind/flyscreen? just pull the flyscreen down, you cant see in if you do that.
or just get a small net curtain and hang that, rather than risking damaging the window, surely it would have been easier to suggest that rather than the long winded explanations as to why you shouldn't use anything sticky
